The concept C-X75 is both a celebration of 75 years of Jaguar iconic design and a look at the future of automotive technology. Designed as a two-seater electric supercar range, it explores the outer limits of performance and durability. With plug-in capability of the car can achieve a zero tailpipe emissions range of 110 kilometers (68 miles) - three times around the Paris ring road - when running under the battery alone, in addition to a potential top speed of 330kph (205 mph) and blistering acceleration. The car shows that it is possible to preserve the fundamental values of Jaguar's performance, design and technology with luxury that will make the environmental performance of electric vehicles and a concrete proposal.

The aim was to produce not only the most innovative, but also one of the most beautiful Jaguars, who hinted at an exciting evolution of the language of the award-winning brand design while paying homage to some of his most admired cars past years. Advanced design features a revolutionary propulsion system and active aerodynamics allow a section of fuselage simple and elegant which is stable at high speeds.

JAGUAR S-TYPE



The S-TYPE is Jaguar’s sport sedan that traces its roots back to the original 1963 S-TYPE and shares many styling cues including a small elliptical grille and quad headlights. The current S-TYPE debuted as a 2000 model. The supercharged 390-horsepower S-TYPE R was added for 2003. The S-TYPE is in its final model year for 2008 before the expected arrival of the all-new 2009 XF in March 2008.

Latest News ON - IN Car : Jaguars Land Rovers To Feature Aluminum Construction


Jaguar has been touting the aluminum-intensive construction of its XJ sedan since the previous-generation model was introduced back in 2003.The automaker claims that use of aluminum in lieu of steel can result in a 40 percent reduction in weight.

Tatas-owned Jaguar Land Rover will eventually make all of its models with lightweight aluminum bodies to save on gas and reduce climate-changing CO2 emissions.So said Tata Motors Chairman Rata Tata earlier this week, adding that the two iconic brands are also developing hybrid engines for use in future JLR models.

In addition to improvements in fuel economy and emissions, that degree of weight reduction should also improve acceleration and handling.In line with its newfound appreciation for lightweight cars, Jaguar Land Rover is experimenting with hybrid powertrains.

A kinetic energy recovery system may be in the cards for the XJ line in 2011, while Land Rover has been working on an Electric Rear Axle Drive that could debut in the upcoming LRX compact Range Rover.

Super Car: Updates on the newest 2010 Jaguar XJ concept

This is an update version of the newest model of the 2010 Jaguar XJ, the wheelbase will remain virtually identical to the last model, so the improvements will come from mounting the rear seat to lower. All the Major updates will be made to the dashboard, with a facial modeled on the XF.

There will be a revised version of the 3.0 liter V6 and the top model R under the hood. It will be powered by a 500BHP 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine. The Hybrid version of this car is also in the work. All engines are mated to Jaguar's latest six-speed box, all with complete steering wheel-mounted paddles. The 2010 Jaguar XJ will also have a new damping system similar to Audi's Magnetic ride.
